Commercial gas cylinders have become expensive. This time there has been an increase of Rs 102.50 on the cylinder. It is a matter of relief that there was no change in the prices of domestic LPG cylinders this month as well. The changed rates have come into effect from Sunday morning. After monthly rate revision, the commercial cylinder (19 kg) has reached close to two and a half thousand. After the increase of 102.50, the commercial cylinder in the capital has become Rs 2,458. While the prices of domestic cylinders (14.2 kg) remained stable for the second consecutive month. There has been no change in the prices of domestic LPG cylinders since March 22. This month also, domestic consumers will have to pay Rs 987.50 for the cylinder.
Commercial cylinder became costlier by Rs 770 in a year
From May 2021 to May 2022 i.e. in the last one year, there has been an increase of Rs 770 on commercial cylinders. On May 1, 2021, the commercial cylinder of 1688 has become Rs 2,458 amidst increasing prices. The price of cylinder has increased the most in the last six months. During this two times an increase of more than Rs 250 has been registered. It has increased by Rs 266 in November 2011 and then by Rs 259 on April 1, 2022.
