Mumbai: The game of thrones of Maharashtra is still on. It is being claimed that rebel Shiv Sena MLA Eknath Shinde has won the support of two-thirds of the party’s MLAs.

On Thursday night, he wrote a letter to Maharashtra Assembly Deputy Speaker Narhari Jirwal insisting on his appointment as the leader of the Shiv Sena Legislature Party.

Shinde now has the support of 47 MLAs,including 37 from Shiv Sena, while CM Uddhav Thackeray has the support of only 13-17 MLAs.

Meanwhile, Shinde has taken a U-turn and said that he has no contact with any national party.

A day after a ‘powerful national party‘claimed to support his group of MLAs in the ongoing political drama in Maharashtra, Shiv Sena rebel Eknath Shinde on Friday said that no national party is in touch with him.

Asked if the BJP was supporting his group,Shinde told, “When I said a big power is supporting us, I meant the power of Balasaheb Thackeray and late Shiv Sena leader Anand Dighe. was.’

In a video released by Shinde’s aides on Thursday evening, he is addressing the rebel MLAs. In this video Shinde is claiming the support of a ‘National Party‘. He was seen saying, ‘No matter what happens, we will win.

As you said it is a national party, a superpower. In this video, Shinde further said, ‘He has told me that the decision taken by us is historic. You have all our strength. If you need something, we won’t let you down.

Whenever we need any help, it will be felt.

After this video surfaced, NCP chief Sharad Pawar had said that which other unit could be behind this other than BJP. At the same time, he had said that the majority will be decided during the plot test.
