Ganesh Chaturthi: Demand for Ganesha idol Getting ready for a grand celebration in Mysore

Mysore:- The festival of the last two years was celebrated simply in the wake of the Corona scare. However, this year the fear of covid has decreased. Thus, the public is preparing for the grand Ganoshotsava celebration. This has given busy work to the idol makers. For those who were sad because there was no demand for the idol in the previous two years, this time it is like winning a bumper lottery.

“Two years after the corona outbreak, 500 or 600 idols were sold during the Ganapati festival. However, this time the demand for 3 thousand idols has come. All idol makers have got a lot of work,” says Ganpati maker Manjunath.
