New Delhi. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi appeared before the Enforcement Directorate (ED) for the fourth time on Monday in the National Herald case. A 3-member team of ED is interrogating him and he was also given a lunch break. Rahul Gandhi was to be questioned on Friday, but he had written a letter to the ED requesting it to be postponed, citing the illness of his mother Sonia Gandhi. The ED accepted his request and asked him to appear for questioning on Monday.

Over 50 Congress workers were detained by the Delhi Police when they were trying to enter the national capital from the Singhu border on Monday. An official has given information about this. Deputy Commissioner of Police Brijendra Kumar Yadav said that we have detained around 50-55 Congress workers including Kalka MLA Pradeep Chaudhary. According to the senior officer, the workers were coming in different cars and were stopped by the police. MLA Pradeep Chaudhary said that I have been detained by the police. I wanted to join my party members at Jantar Mantar. He said that at present he has been kept in Narela police station

Opposition to Agneepath plan

Meanwhile, senior party leaders and MPs are currently registering their protest against the government over the Defense Recruitment Scheme Agneepath and their leader Rahul Gandhi’s interrogation by the ED through Satyagraha at Jantar Mantar.
