Job Summary:
We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Software Development Engineer I (Frontend) to join our engineering team. You will work on building responsive, high-performance web applications using modern frontend technologies. As an SDE I, you’ll collaborate with designers, backend developers, and product managers to deliver seamless user experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Stay up to date with the latest frontend trends and technologies.
Develop and maintain user-facing features using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks like React.js, Vue.js, or Angular.
Translate UI/UX design wireframes into high-quality, interactive interfaces.
Optimize components for performance across web-capable devices and browsers.
Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following best practices.
Collaborate with backend developers to integrate APIs and other services.
Debug and fix frontend issues, including browser compatibility and performance problems.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of team standards.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web design.
- Hands-on experience with one or more frontend frameworks/libraries like React, Vue, or Angular.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
- Understanding of version control systems, especially Git.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Internship or project experience building web applications.
- Basic knowledge of UI/UX principles and design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD).
- Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, or React Testing Library.
- Experience with build tools and bundlers (Webpack, Vite, etc.).
- Awareness of accessibility and SEO best practices.
