Dehradun:- All the records are breaking this time in Char Dham Yatra. The number of devotees in Kedarnath has become a record in the month of August, while there are still about two months of travel left. According to the official data released regarding the number of devotees who reached Kedarnath Dham till August 15, more than 10 lakh 10 thousand devotees have reached the Dham, while in 2019 this number was 10 lakh 35. Similarly, the number of devotees who have reached the four Dhams so far is close to touching the figure of 30 lakhs. More than one and a half lakh devotees have visited Hemkund Sahib even during several rounds of heavy rains.

All the old records of the number of devotees coming to Kedarnath Yatra have been broken. For the first time in the history of Kedarnath Yatra, it has happened that the number of pilgrims who visited has reached more than 10 lakh 10 thousand. That too, this data has come to the fore in the journey that lasted till the month of August.

On the upcoming Bhaiya Dooj, till the doors of Kedarnath are closed for the winter, this figure will increase further and set a new record. Let us inform that this year Chardham Yatra started on 3 May 2022. After this, the doors of Kedarnath Dham were opened on May 6 and since then there was a lot of enthusiasm among the devotees for Kedarnath Dham.
